Welcome to the NOARS contacts page.
We would like to take a moment to explain why our E-mail addresses only appear in the
format that they do, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Basically, it is an attempt to stop us from receiving
unsolicited junk mail (I.E. spam). The people who send junk mail have programs (sometimes called robots) that scan the internet
(also called crawling or harvesting) for E-mail addresses on web pages. It is our belief that providing our E-mail addresses
in this format will help prevent us from receiving junk mail. Also, you may have noticed the year in the address. That will
change each year to further prevent junk mail. It is sad that we have to take these measures, but the benefits of the internet
far outweigh the inconvenience. I read in an article last year that approximately 85% of the E-mail passing through the
internet is junk mail or spam. Our web master receives over 300 messages a day and has to use a junk mail filter to eliminate
the junk. Also, these NOARS E-mail addresses will be forwarded to our own personal E-mail accounts somewhere. We ask that
you respect our privacy and not give out our personal E-mail addresses.
Thank you for your understanding.
