Alexander (Al) Virgil Boston, II, 86, of Oberlin, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Allen Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1924 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Al served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as an electrician for General Motors in Elyria for many years. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of N.O.A.R.S. call sign WA8PKC. He enjoyed ham radio, growing herbs and flowers, hunting and fishing.
We will miss his checking in to our nets as "W - A - 8 - P - K and a C". He was always so gracious and appreciative.
