NOARS believes in furthering the art of Amateur Radio.  To do so, we must learn, but we must also teach.  And so, in February of 2007 NOARS began giving Amateur Radio License classses.  Our first class was a beginners class where we taught about 10 people how to become hams by preparing them for their Technician license exam.  The class was very successful and most of them have now become NOARS members and are active in the ham radio community.

We need your help.  If you are interested in taking a class or would like to help us teach a class, please contact any one of us through the Contact Us button on the menu at the left.

Reminder:  The General Class question pool will be updated on July 1, 2011.  If you have been postponing preparing for the General ticket, you might consider timing it so you can take the test before June 30, 2011.  If you are interested in a structured class, contact Carl W8KRF, Tom W8KYZ, or Julie WD8ADE.  If there is enough interest, we will plan on a class in early Fall.
